Esfahan, 33Bridge

"Palestine people created to be the Jew slaves. If you know history, the mother of Ishmael was a servant by Avraham" it was the comment an israeli had once told him, (direct quotation from Y.M 16/f from israel) and Taha knew it wasn't the idea of one person, he knew where this idea came from!

Taha stopped on the bridge to watch the sunset in horizon of Zayande-Rud, the river that aliens feel even better than Esfahanis.

They say sad ones love sunset! Especially those who see setting of their country in the far horizon!

Taha was thinking about the American pilot and felt how lonely he was among all of these roar and propaganda and political games. Found a strong feeling he wished to meet the man, strangers would love to join strangers. But what would an American think about a Palestinian militant? A terrorist? A murderer?

How cruel the world is!

' How much money is needed to buy the minds of people?' he thought. 80 percent of American economy (money) is estimated to be in hand of Jewish Zionists (resource). It means they can be the unrivaled suppliers of a politician, a president, a member of cabinet, senate, congress; especially at the election time! … They can be the biggest customer of the independent media news. ' Who must their news satisfy then?' Taha asked himself.(resource)

Hey! Even Arab roles in cinema usually go to israelis! What an accident!! (http://www.newsweek.com/id/174323 )

But you can't buy all of a nation's mind with money, human beings are much more valuable that whole containment {?} of money on the earth. They worship God, they sense morals, these are not evaluated by any amount of money; it is the church perhaps that must preach then: support the Jewish state to help Jesus' return! These thoughts went round in his mind.

Day was on its end, Sun was sinking into blood like his Palestine. He began walking along the bridge, ' even schools! How can I sit side by side with a man who's trained to think I'm a killer of the historically oppressed Jew?' he thought, those who are executed by Romans and burnt in Nazi ovens, ' by the way, what was the role of my nation in these crimes?' Taha stood asking for a moment, and what was the role of Islam? Is it the favor of history that innocents must be punished for crimes and criminals sit aside and cheer?

Opss! Expressing these, you would be accused of anti-Semitism immediately!

no matter how many sanctions reproving israel are vetoed by the US in the Security Council (41 vetoes http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/UN/usvetoes.html), it's normal to defend an oppressed nation!  No matter that deaths of Palestinian kids are completely censored in the western broadcasting (if Americas knew), they are just animals! And no matter how many researchers get jailed for asking about holocaust and other holy things, they are godless fascists!

Taha stopped at the end of the bridge and looked at the empty place of sun in the horizon; and said aloud ' these idiots don't understand that sun will rise again tomorrow morning!'

Two or three passengers looked at him with surprise.

Roy got up slowly from his bed, sitting in his place. Kaveh was walking around when he noticed Roy was awake. Went to him and saw his face was wet. He knew he didn't need to begin speaking; Roy would begin himself as he did, ' I saw the baby again!' his voice was trembling, he tried so much to continue but he couldn't.

' Ok, calm down' said Kaveh sitting beside him, ' it's because you're anxious, you just need to relieve, these dreams are all natural'

But his words were of no use. Roy was cold and pale, though it wasn't clear in the moonshine. Kaveh got up and closed the window and put the blanket on Roy's shoulders, it didn't help much, it wasn't the weather.

Kaveh was thinking what to do, put his arm around Roy's neck and pulled his head to his chest to comfort him, thought it could be unusual for a westerner, but Roy was too lifeless, felt miserable and helpless, just whispered, ' I never believed I would find a brother here. Thank you for you don't hate me!'

For a moment Kaveh really felt he had his younger brother in his arms and suddenly felt he had to relieve him somehow, pressed him on his chest and prayed with himself.

' I hear beating of a father's heart' said Roy, ' I'm happy! I'm not alone'

[17:4] We addressed the Children of Israel in the scripture: "You will commit corruption on earth, twice, and You will certainly fall into great heights of arrogance.
[17:5] "When the first time came to pass, we sent against you servants of ours who possessed great might, and they invaded your homes. This was a prophecy that must have come to pass.
[17:6] "Afterwards, we gave you a turn over them, and supplied you with a lot of wealth and children; we gave you the upper hand.
[17:7] "If you work righteousness, you work righteousness for your own good, but if you commit evil you do so to your own detriment. Thus, when the second time comes to pass, they will defeat you and enter the mosque, just as they did the first time. They will wipe out all the gains you had accomplished."
[17:8] may your lord deals you with mercy, and if you revert we’ll revert, and  we designed the Gehenna a final abode for the disbelievers

Rose wanted to escape from the never ending disturbance of reporters; the young reporter asked again, ‘Is it right there have been some hidden agreements between Iranians and officials of Democrat Party to which you’ve protested?’

‘Please! I’m too busy, have no time for these nonsense and rumors’

‘Oh please Ms! just a short explanation, is it right that Iranians have got in tough with you and threatened you?’

Rose was getting angry, she was in a hurry, couldn’t miss the flight to London, but didn’t want the media know about her trip.

‘Please please, let go of me! How can I make you understand?’

‘Oh Ms! All what I want is a simple yes or no, they say you are going to go abroad because of threats from Iran!’

She was shocked, had they discovered about her journey or it was simply a reporter trick? Suddenly she rose up and shouted, ‘Why do you ask for my permission? Go pour your stuff in poor minds of your listeners? Go out please, now!’

The reporter was surprised and scared by her sudden reaction. After going out still he suspected the strange reply he had received and then decided to stay in ambush to see what would happen next.

After half an hour, he had his theme, she left the house with a suitcase and her baby, looked around and got in the taxi waiting for her. He recorded the taxi no.

Now it was sunset when she rested in her seat in the airplane. She loved to watch it but they would fly in the opposite direction.

She thought about what she was going to do in Britain, she would enter London when it was still day time, her first aim was Red Cross, she thought she would get a lawyer, stay and insist, she didn’t think of anything but speaking with his husband directly.

If the Red Cross couldn’t do anything she would go to British foreign ministry, they could probably do more than Americans.

She didn’t think about the media anymore, all what she paid attention to at the moment was arranging her journey. Even if she didn’t get her result from the foreign ministry, there were many NGOs that could help.

No she couldn’t fail, she was too hopeful to fail!

Esfahan, Raha's home

Mar. 25th, 2:30 am

Taha opened his eyes with a horror, it was dark and silent and a little cold, in the first seconds it was difficult to believe it was just a dream! He saw the scene when israeli forces had rushed into his house and seized him with his father, her mother was screaming hitting her face, an israeli soldier hit her with his rifle, his younger brother Mohamed was as pale as snow, he had a stone in his hand, these all were the real events he had witnessed in Palestine renewing in his mind now and then.

But he saw new things in his dream, Raha appeared running to his mother to comfort her and took her into his house. Being pulled away by IDF soldiers he felt fighters were coming to destroy his house, his loved ones inside, Mohamed threw his stone to one of crafts, it exploded to their surprise. He took another stone and threw, then a third, others joined him, each stone destroyed a fighter but the more crafts fell the more appeared in the sky.

The sky got dark by the intension of airplanes. Now all had concentrated on Mohamed. He saw Raha from the window of the house she was looking up, feeling as if she was unarmed and tied while being attacked and targeted!

He woke up here. Got up and walked to the kitchen, drank some water and felt cold. He felt such a strong feeling that he wanted to meet Raha immediately. Went back to the bedroom and called to Raha's cell phone, though he knew it was useless, she wouldn't answer her calls.

She wouldn't also answer SMS for her phone could be tracked, but he hopelessly sent a message to her.

Esfahan, Military base

Same date, 3:45 am

Roy was still awake, couldn't sleep. Watched Kaveh standing for a favorite night prayer, he prayed within these three nights and loved to hold it for a long time. The midnight is a very lovely time for praying, especially when you're alone.

It was going to be the Azan time; Roy knew Kaveh would go out for Morning Prayer as soon as Azan began, but he didn't like it, it was not that he didn't like Kaveh pray; he simply didn't want to be left alone.

Besides, he wished to see if Kaveh would stay with him in his stressful condition, or would leave.

He sat close to Kaveh on the ground and took his hand in his, though Kaveh hadn't still finished his prayer.

When Kaveh's prayer was over, he put his other hand on Roy's, thinking how he could go for Azan?

' Poor Mahtab!' he said, ' she's been looking forward me on her 7ssin for so long!'

' Your girl?' asked Roy.

' Yeah, you know, her name means moonshine! I must have been home for Noruz, they need a little bit father!' remarked Kaveh.

' What's the meaning of your own name?'

' It's the name of a mythic Persian revolutionary man that rises against cruelty' explained Kaveh, ' do you like to know the meaning of other names also, Omid means hope, Raha means free, both what you need' he winked.

' hah, what about "Selahshur" then?'

' That means warrior' Kaveh looked at his watch a little anxiously, but smiled.

' Hmm together becomes "free warrior"' Roy said jokingly. He had smelt the anxiety of Kaveh and felt he would be left soon, but he didn't show it.

Kaveh changed his tone and tried to be more cheerful, ' if I were you I would use my chance to know the other culture and faith, your time will be over and you will go home soon, but now you have a special chance Americans usually don't?'

Roy pulled his hand back and said roughly ' ok! I know why you're saying that! Go if you want to, get rid of an infidel like me and rush to your God'

' Come on, I'm going to take you with me'

But Roy got up with displeasure and went back to his bed where he lied down again, Kaveh didn't want it, he got up also and said, ' what was wrong with my suggestion? Wouldn't you like to come with me?'

Roy was upset, didn't want to think about anything, Kaveh pulled him up and said, ' you're killing yourself this way! We both need to go out and pray with others'

Roy turned away trying to show anger, but more than anger he felt loneliness and disappointment.

' See? Sometimes you would better join those who pray, they give you a feeling of speaking with God' Kaveh said sitting on the edge of the bed. Hesitated for a moment and went ahead, ' and a feeling that all of them are with you'

But Roy didn't answer as if he didn't hear.

' To see people speak to the same God and have the same feeling as you,' Kaveh tried his last card, ' helps you know we all are one, unity gives you power and peace. We're created so!'

' You tire me' said Roy, ' go where ever you want, I didn't stop you, did I? Could I?'

' I will not go then, if you don't go with me' said Kaveh silently as if he was accepting a hard choice.

' Stop making fun of me! I'm tired, go away, leave me alone' said Roy.

Kaveh went unhappily back to the place where he was already praying, hopelessly looked at Roy and stood ready to pray individually.

Another officer arrived to receive Kaveh's post (as a result he could go to pray), but he said he would stay. Roy got sorry, thought he would go with Kaveh if he asked once more, but he didn't, with no more words he began his individual prayer.

Iran, Bushehr, radar site

Same date, 4:12 am

' Commander, Commander!' one of the personnel cried, ' see! Flying objects approach us, they are very fast'

A whisper arose, what to do, about 2 minutes was the longest time the base had to decide what to do.

' They seem to be launched from Arabia soil; yes I'm sure, probably from an American military base there, located to the nuclear power plant! Oh Commander!'

' Can you track their hot gases?' cried the commander of the base, ' we must exactly locate them, who are the patrol pilots tonight? Touch them immediately; give them the geographic coordinates of the missiles! … Hurry up! ...'

4-12 -01.JPG

' No hot gas detected Sir!' the voice of an officer from his left side cut him off.

' Oh, God! Ok, we'll work with radars'

' Commander, none of pilots detects any object, the rockets must have hid from their radars!' another said.

The commander had no time to surprise, ' inform Tehran, be quick, prepare the ground to air anti-missiles. Get in touch with the intelligence ministry. Now'

The officers were fast, moments were faster.

' Three missiles of big volumes, type unknown, velocity 3000 km/h, located to the nuclear power plant … now entered Iranian air' one declared.

' Target them, we'll fire within 10 minutes' the excited commander screamed.

'1098…' the countdown began at once.

' None of the pilots okay the existence of flying object with eyes (چشم غیر مسلح)!' said an officer with headphones.

' Our rockets will hit the Arabia oil platform in the Persian Gulf if not hitting the target' another said at the same time.

'3

The commander felt cold and trembling as well as all of others around.

'2

What kind of missiles were these, invisible to everyone but the radars of the base?

'1…

This doubt hit the commander made him shouting ' stop!'

Unaware, the officer in charge for anti-missiles counter-attacks{?} his hand on the halt button.

' Commander! The plant will be flattened!' his assistant screamed.

The commander didn't move like a dry stick, it was difficult to breath; hearts beating fast, eyes stared at each other.

' By this moment the missiles must have been over the plant,' said the only voice that dared to break the silence.

' Where are they then?' the low voice of the officer by the radar asked.

Frightened eyes turned to the radar monitor. The green shiny line went round the screen and marked no dark object.

The plant is safe, where did the missiles disappear?

Everybody was confused and trembling of the excitement.

What happened?

Esfahan, Military base

Same date 6 am

Roy had noticed kind of unrest in the base, even Kaveh that kept up all night long, did not sleep.

He didn't ask what was wrong, hated to have his question refused to be answered.

Raha came to his room. Her calm mood through a high anxiety wondered him.

' Told the Major about the incident?' she asked Kaveh who stood up politely for respect of her.

' No' Kaveh replied, 'I must have, but … I thought the later the better; he will be just more disappointed and concerned'

' You have already concerned him enough! Better to let him know what he has the right to know.' then she turned to Roy, but before having any chance to speak, an officer saluted by the door, and said, 'the Intelligence have called Ms'

' Please get in touch and say we are aware' she said.

Sat on a chair but before beginning again another one came and said, ' commander, it's 6, should I report?'

' Report what?' she said, ' why you all are so excited? Try to accept nothing's happened!'

Obviously she was in trouble to keep the base calm. ' Tell the others to go on their daily duties please; no one will do anything until I say'

' The base is excited!' said Roy, ' has it been an attack again?'

' Thanks for your patience Major,' said Raha, ' come with me please'

Major Roy looked up at her, as a commander he could trace a line of different anxiety in the face of his counterpart.

Sometimes knowing that another one is aware of your pain helps you stand it. Raha felt pleased.

Roy looked inside the room to which he had followed the two Majors, to see who they saluted to. He found 3 colonels sitting there, and then he saluted as well.

' Are you hopefully about to stay and receive the command Sir?' Raha stated to Colonel Rastgari, one of the three.

' Perhaps, please sit down for now' he replied. Then turned to Roy and said, ' with kind regards to you, very briefly I need to inform you that we have recently faced a kind of attack, from where and with what kind of weapon and for which purpose still unknown to us, anyway I sincerely hope it doesn't affect your political fate. What you need to know is we may be pulled into an open war; it was the best explanation we could give to the unwelcome incident.

' Also they've probably got close to find your position, and it is not good, they will probably try to hurt you if they don't success saving you! We have evidences today that the israeli intelligence are working hard on the subject, they are not saviors, they're killers.'

Roy did not answer, was thinking of what would happen if a war began. Could all of these have ended if he'd dropped his bomb and passed?

Things were too serious now; if you're not to kid yourself, the nominal attack is arranged to start the battle.

The Colonel went ahead, ' Shadows were detected on the radar screens showing all signs of missiles aimed to the nuclear facilities of Bushehr, but our pilots didn't see anything in the sky. The operation of countering is stopped in the last moment, only a miracle has halted it! Or our missiles would hit American targets or Arabian soils, and we were in war now with our own responsibility, the commander of that base has acted very wisely'.

Roy found Raha much easier to address than the Colonel, and said, ' If you're not to put me into interrogation again, I guess it's been signal disturbance, very difficult to be distinguished from the real threat'

' As we guessed! Means war is inevitable!' said Raha through the stressful air of the command room.
