Persian Gulf, the USA warship

‘An extreme awareness! It’ll be one of the most important operations of the United States and israel’ said General White to the squadron, and he was right, it was important enough to pull generals into the warship, or even the President himself.
CIA had detected the increase in activities in the Natanz plant and UCF, suspected to be a fast attempt towards nukes. Before this, Iran was frequently warned about an attack by the US 4.*it was a drought and water resources for generating hydroelectricity were reduced, oil price kept rising and even for a producer it wasn’t wise to burn it, then, Iran was going to add another nuclear power plant in its generational industries and wanted its fuel to be produced before Noruz, when the country needed much more electricity
Israel was so concerned if Iran could produce nuclear weapons, even though they already had nukes ready to launch 5. and they have never signed NPT 6. They thought it could be possible to bomb nuclear plants in Iran 7 as they did to Iraq and Syria before 8.
It was now on the table 9, the Intelligence Agency had arranged a blitz to hit Natanz plant but not a barrage of course. They knew very well that beginning a war with Iran would end to a world war. To a blitz, hopefully Iran couldn’t react, not on time at least. But what kind of decision would Tehran take then? It remains a question!
‘Major, you will be the leader of the squadron and will carry the warheads, you know very well’ said General White, ‘have you met the 4 pilots that will escort you? Again I tell you, you must be extremely fast’ he was speaking so rapidly that the Major couldn’t answer, and he didn’t need to answer, it was the hundredth time he heard them, he was as familiar with his duty as if he had frequently carried it out. But for the first time he asked a new question, though his discipline was never to ask any question from his commander, ‘I’m sorry sir, I know I shouldn’t ask it, err…, but it’s the first time after decades we are going to use a nuclear bomb, is it really necessary?’
‘Here, sit down Major’ the General smiled.
After he sat down the General continued, ‘we estimated the distance to the town, also note that the plant is underneath, the rocket will go deep down, not any harm to civilians. On the other hand, think of millions of innocent israeli people whose lives are in danger, extremist Muslims will not hesitate as soon as they achieve their ambitions, the most dangerous people are those who kill in the name of God. You may even kill a few, but save millions… also, it’s an israeli designed operation and we are morally responsible about our allies.’
Major Roy Harding, 28, American. He is brave, loyal and really skilled.
He is one of the best choices for such a delicate commission.
Right this morning he was informed that his daughter was born; he would go home to meet his baby after this commission, if returned alive!

‘So soon you got back from Natanz, Raha! And kind of uneasy all of evening. Anything wrong?’ her husband said in Arabic. He used to speak Arabic with her, but she answered in Persian. Still he was relieved to have the chance to speak in his own language.
‘I was there just to make sure about security of Natanz.’ She said ‘The Colonel called me, said I would better get back as soon as possible and be ready for a probable alert. The Intelligence can’t say everything, I guess it’s long they’ve suspected activities from abroad 10. I asked my sister what their reaction would be if we were attacked.’
She lied and stared at the ceiling while speaking ‘We paid such an expensive price for our freedom, so much blood we gave for our revolution against a dictator, hundreds of thousand of loved lives we gave to make this regime I R, so boycotts, so threats! And we are ready to pay more.
‘See how westerners think it’s a dictatorship we are impatient to get rid of!! Alas, it’s an insult to so many loved lives. I wish the west knew!’
He felt sick of the world, and its cruelty. He preferred not to speak more, turned to
the window and looked at the moon, happy to see at least the moon is just enough
to be the moon everywhere, in American sky, in Iranian sky, over Palestinian camps
and israeli houses.
Taha Ahmad, 27, Palestinian. Since he was exiled from Gaza his entry’s been denied, although the story of his displacement is so long.

‘You never get in touch with each other in Iranian Air’ the General explained to the squadron, ‘everything is exhaustively predicted (*), if you probably face a fuel problem the Major Harding’s aircraft must be fed and 2 or 3 fighters will get back immediately, the total operation is hardly expected to last more than two hours considering all of probable problems, being detected by Iranians is impossible for your anti-radar capabilities, and anyway you are well trained about anti-aircraft missiles that would be only a bump for you. Even if they choose a dogfight they won’t use a fighter better than our F14s or versions of Saeghe, you have much better radars and more maneuverable B-fighters they won’t trouble you more than a few seconds, there may be errors in your GPS system because of especial radio absorbing materials they use, don’t worry, trust your aero navigation system…’ and he went on and on.
Nobody except the General in charge and the squadron knew about the operation, Major looked at his men; they were excited and motivated, proud of being elected for such a duty.
‘What are we going to do? Do we exactly know?’ he thought with himself.
‘Roy?’ General called him friendlier than common say of military; he used to be his student not only an officer. Then looked around again, men had gone, and as if speaking with his son,he said ‘and the last point left only for you: any operation may fail, well one percent probable! But anyway the probability exists. If you fail reaching Natanz, the basis of operation mustn’t fail even if you see no way left, release your rocket over the city. Never let Iranians survive this operation. Always remember, a nation is in danger by them, and if you fail they’ll surely have the chance to respond as sever as possible.’
The Major looked at him not speaking, and that was sufficient for General to notice his idea was not satisfying enough, then continued, ‘people say nuking Japan was a crime, but they don’t mention it caused an end to a world war! A few hundreds of thousand of people were killed, yes, but a war in which 60 million people were killed was stopped, millions more would be killed, we prevented it, we saved lives…the case is just the same, Iranians’ goal is to dominate the world under Islam, and wipe off israel, the 3rd world war will kill more than 10 times as much as the other two, we should prevent it.’
‘Aren’t we to start it?’ the Major was about to ask, but he surrendered. Got up and went out.
He stood out looking at the endless water of the gulf that carried him, as well as the name of those whom he was going to fight. Watching the waves, tried to find his own name in future history, to see if it was listed under the name of Arthur or Hitler?
He wished to have a flight with his squadron again, but he couldn’t, Iranians would smell something was wrong,
He got to his room, took his laptop and signed in to see if his wife was online to show him his daughter, but it was 11 am now and was midnight in the United States. About two or three weeks later he could go home and she would look like him by that time.

The General was explaining the operation on a map of Iran lighting up the wall, Roy didn’t listen. He hadn’t had a good night, sleepless! He didn’t know if it was of happiness for his child’s birth or concern for the operation.
‘The date of action is Mar. 21st, this is the ancient Persian Celebration and the attack can be most effective.’ General was saying ‘You will enter Iraqi air from different points as a practicing sortie and, passed Imara and Maharib, you’ll join each other in Aboghuraib. A tanker will be waiting for you there. You’ll fuel and set off to Iran 10. After passing the border you’ll no way get in touch with each other, and will keep your way straight to Zagross Mountains via Andimeshk and then to Natanz as fast as possible’ after reminding the probable problems and threats he said, ‘when you are done you will go back from the south and fuel again only of vitaly need it, and reach to the US war ship ’ Then he joked ‘and will take a shower and turn on the TV to hear about the new world you have built!’
Again when the General finished his comments the Major began thinking about his allies, those people whose lives depended on his action, even if he had to kill other lives!
Why should these Jews be threatened all the time? Romans, Hitler, and Palestinians and now Iran! Even now that they have made a country of their own they are threatened by missiles and suicide bombing. How could he relieve them with destroying another nation’s accomplishment? You may never think seriously about any of these until you are in such a situation.
Iran, Natanz
Same day
"Fati... Fati... Fati get up ..." mother was calling.
Fati moved in the bed with trouble.
"Mum! Let me sleep, I'm so sleepy
"Bazaar will be crowded, get up, you must buy new clothes for this year."
she stopped calling for a while then kissed Fati as she was a little playful girl yet and fondling her beautiful soft and dark hairs said, "get up sweetie it's 9 am, I want to see you in new beautiful dress, my little princess."
Fati loved the moment when her mother sat near her bed and spoke to her with such compliments, so she pretended she was opening her eyes difficultly.
'Oh mum, Ok!'
She got up and kissed back her loved mother.
"Ok! My dear mum, I'll get ready soon, just give me some minutes" And mother smiled again leaving.
"I am waiting for you, come on."
When mother went she jumped on her computer to see what are the new messages from her friends Zeinab, Samin, And clearly there were, " we are ready to go to Nuclear power plant 1st Frafardin, Ms. Firooze will come with us too, also some of teachers and other students, we want to be there at the beginning of the New Year and celebrate New Year there, don't forget to ask your Mum because you must have permission from one of your parents Zeinab says. bring some of those delicious cookies your mother bakes, don't forget".
Fati felt so excited! Finally some of the teachers accepted to take them there .Surely they all owed to Zeinab's smooth tongue.
Finally, after so much preparing and calling to two aunts and uncle's wife, Family's women all decided to meet in a square in bazaar. Fati felt a little odd about going for shopping with all of family members because she was not sure if others would admire her tact but she was soon to learn that it was just accompany and a kind of pleasure for women to go for shopping all together, at 10:30 am they gathered at last and even aunt Safura who mostly was late came, they naturally parted to two groups, children and mothers, the old Bazaar was always crowded and full of people, many, loved and enjoyed to come to old historic Bazaar with its curved and very high roofs .The old Bazaar with its traditional shops, which were full of colorful clothes which were hung even from roofs. There were different types, one could choose between traditional and somehow western styles .It had a special and attracting vision. In the noon they all went for prayers to the Mosque which its door opened straight into bazaar and then to a very beautiful restaurant for having launch. These were all part of old and ancient Islamic architecture, which brought all of these together in one place, materialistic and spiritual matters.
Natanz is a very little town but every Islamic town has definitely Islamic architecture, and one of its qualities is joining all the life's events with prayers because "The only One God" or "The Lord" is the “Only Conqueror” and He could never be forgotten.
At the end of the day after a long time shopping, finally every one was satisfied, More or less.
Fati and her mother were on the way to their home when Fati told her about the odd and exciting decision of her and her friends to begin New Year around Natanz's plant which surprised her mother but made her laugh as well.
"So why you have decided to begin year in such an odd place?"
"Mum! Every one is going to go, all my friends", she persisted.
"I'm not going to stop you; I just want to know why all of you have chosen such a place?" Mother assured her
She turned red.
"OK! I don't think there'll be any problem at all, if you'll be happy."
