Media has a lot of effect on how different nations think and judge about an unique event. Since the first minutes after the incident the media began their work.

Some people think the media lie, but I think lying is not required, you can broadcast half of the truth and your addressee will automatically miss the other half.
Rose, Roy's wife was watching the news accidentally. It was the first headline after the incident by one of news agencies: Iranian invasion,
"After Iran violated Iraqi territory, American Army arranged an urgent patrol fly over Iranian sky. As a result of a second invasion by Iranians, while any resistance by the squadron could lead to a global crisis, they wisely avoided conflict. The fate of pilots is undeclared till this moment.
"The attack to Iraqi territory targeted an American tanker attending there for training purposes far away from Iranian border in AbuGhuraib, where the tanker fell."
Hearing it as one of the first statements that informed American nation and the west about what happened, Rose thought where Roy could be at the moment.
Iranian TV broadcasted at the same time, "Synchronic with the beginning of the ancient Iranian New Year, the American conspiracy against the peaceful nuclear technology of the Iranian nation converted into mirage by the fast counterattack of warriors of the Revolution Guard Corps (Sepah)..."
While Taha was watching the news, he though if Raha was also involved. He was sure many people would rush out of homes hearing the news.

See how effective is the way you choose your headlines, while many people just look at headlines, not reading their texts that may be totally different. About an hour later the American news agency declared with a picture of Iranian military parade in the background: "US Pilot captured at gunpoint" 28 she was upset and changed the channel, but it also said: "THE REACH OF WAR: Iran Seizes The American Pilot" 29
For a few moments she was worried and thought why doesn't the US react immediately?
At the same time Taha kept the channel 6 on as well, and the headline attracted his attention, "US Major surrendered!"

You can excite your addressee easily by provoking his or her patriot or humane feelings for example, sometime later Rose, holding her baby in her arms, heard, "Hostage fears over pilots seized by Iran" 30
This time it really concerned her.
It was continued: "US’ crisis with Iran deepened this morning after Tehran justified seizing patrol pilots by claiming that they had "attacked" its nuclear facilities. Instead, there were growing fears that the pilots were victims of a deliberate ambush by Iranian Revolutionary Guards, perhaps seeking to use the captives as hostages in the increasingly tense stand-off between the West and Iran over its nuclear programme." See the origin news
Then the news added: "a branch of the Revolutionary Guards was blacklisted by the US before, as a result of supporting terrorism in Iraq against American troops"
Specially adding the sentence was very wise to lead the addressee's mind how to think, she didn't notice that the news never used the word military man or officer, or anything that reminds they weren't civilians, about them and always called them pilots.
Anyhow the news really worried Rose. She turned on her computer to see if she would meet her husband, but he had told her before that he wouldn't be online for two days.
Taha was eager to hear if they would mention which officers were involved with the subject, for he guessed Raha was in Natanz at the same time, but the only news after a few hours was: The Sight Of National Emotion And Pride.
Reporters had attended among people who collected around Natanz facilities, interviewed people, and reported their attendance alive. Many people sang a famous slogan together: Nuclear energy is our irrevocable right.
Though he honored a nation with such a strong will, yet it was not what he looked for at the moment. He turned off TV and walked across the hall to his room.
While some of Rose's neighbors hadn't even heard the news yet, she still kept her TV on and it reported things as hot as possible: US president steps up pressure on Iran as EU moves in 31
The news was speaking about the sever political response on Iran's action, and that it was studied whether an early extensive attack to Iran with Europe's accompany or farther sanctions must be taken against Iran.
Some times you need to create an atmosphere of crisis for the listener. This way the insider may feel how great the problem and how wicked the enemy are, on the other hand the enemy may fear and give up.
In the other side Iranian news stopped updating news and mentioning the west for a while. It is a good way to tell your listener that no crisis is ahead and everything is ok.

Esfahan, military base
Mar. 22nd, 7:30 am

Signs of keeping awake all the night were expressive in Raha's eyes when Kaveh met her in the corridor out of Roy's room. Kaveh himself didn't sleep more than two hours as a result of watching Roy.
But Raha had a meeting with the Colonel and very important issues were discussed.
'Salam Major, what's up?' Kaveh asked.
'Bad news... Salam!' Raha answered passing, she wasn't joking, her dissatisfaction was obvious.
It worried Kaveh, the best reason for her unhappiness could be one of the two, security concerns or base command. Questioning Raha was useless; she never spoke about information before it was needed. Still something was not ok about her, she walked across her room again and again when she was very anxious or angry, it made everybody understand something was wrong with her.
Kaveh noticed it when he was on her door and was even more confused, what new thing could have happened since last night? He tried to say something, again he didn't find any.
'Is the American officer up now?' she said herself when she saw him standing there, 'is he in a better mental situation? I need to interrogate him more perfectly.'
'Well, I don't know how he is today,' Kaveh said very carefully, 'he was awake for long and didn't want to sleep, I had to make him have medicine. He called names on me all the time, shouted at me.'
'I understand. He has every right to feel bad. Did he speak about any special thing?' asked Raha. This time she was very fast overcoming her unrest, and became calm rapidly or at least seemed calm.
'Not much, he mostly cursed Muslims.' Said Kaveh, 'hmm, I think he was just angry'
'I don't think it would be only anger!' Raha disagreed. 'Have you heard about Islam-phobia? I think the whole west suffer it.'
'Islam-phobia?' asked Kaveh
'Well it is how I call it! A kind of feeling that Islam breeds terror and misery for them, a feeling that Muslims are savage people who just can struggle and fight.'
'Yes, you're right! Last night I did my best to make Roy understand Muslims are people like others,' said Kaveh, 'and that there would be no reason for Muslims to love something that other human beings naturally hate!'
'Roy?' she almost laughed, 'you call him as if he is a close friend!!'
Kaveh suddenly hesitated! He didn't know what to reply.
'What is strange about his resistance against your idea?' Raha continued, 'if the media, cinema, school, books, and everything trained any of us since early childhood to hate Islam, we would hate Islam. Ideology is a threat for powers, look at history; always powers have opposed prophets, fought them, killed them, and blamed them! It is because ideology arouses you against blind obedience.'
'But they do have ideologies, don't they?' said Kaveh.
'Really?' said Raha, 'they've forgot about Christianity and Judaism! Many of them have accepted the ill commentary that is offered to them from Bible, not Bible itself! Or some gave up the whole religion because the commentary was ill! They've left their leaders do any crime and they don't even tire themselves to question and discover or protest and change, do you really see any ideology, any faith!
'Islam appeared with a strong anti-cruelty idea and serious invitation to logic and thinking, that is the most dangerous thing for power and aggression, a valiant way of worshiping, quite understandable why leaders don't let it be known.'
'Muslims are not better anyway, how many of them really read Qoran?' Kaveh uttered unhappily, 'isn't it why many of them live under dictatorship? Isn't it why many are uneducated or irresponsible? Isn't it why oppressed people of the world are screaming from pain and none of these so-called Muslims move seriously? Isn't it why they are so divided?'
'Yes I see' she said, 'Islam is unknown for both of Muslims and non-Muslims, some because of irresponsibility and some because of ignorance!
'It's not time for grumbling why things are like what they are, go see if your guest is awake for now. We are in a risky situation and we will require his information.'
Kaveh suddenly jumped up as if he recalled something important, said, 'oh ok', and went back to Roy.
He thought Roy must have still been asleep but found him sitting in his bed, deeply thinking. Another time Roy was the one who began, 'There is one thing I can't forget about' he said not in a friendly way, 'will you bring me my Bible? It is in the knapsack they took away last night... my own copy, got it?'
'You seem pale, what's with you?' said Kaveh, 'still angry with me? I would never harm you; the tranquilizer was to help you!'
Roy pressed his hands together, 'Bible only, please!' he whispered.
Kaveh sat down and said, 'really, I have to ask for permission, it is not my choice'
Then he made sure Roy was not ok, after a few seconds said waveringly, 'can I probably help?'
Roy suddenly turned to him with anger, but controlled himself and remained silent.
'What a cursed day it is, in such a happy time as Noruz!' Kaveh thought, 'everybody angry, everybody upset! What's going on?'
'It's not my fault, your copy is not with me' Kaveh tried to say with a calm tone, then remembered he must took Roy for interrogation, but how could he make him eat his breakfast first?
As Kaveh guessed, he refused eating anything, he informed Raha, Raha was too anxious and impatient to think about these things, 'I don't care a bit, leave him do any amiss he wishes, bring him either having breakfast or not having.'
Kaveh didn't except such a reaction form such a personality as Raha at all! 'But!...' he said.
'Right now' she said very seriously, 'I want to see him in the interrogation room within 5 minutes'
She was an officer of the same rank as Kaveh and Kaveh didn't know why she spoke so imperious with him. Anyway she was an intelligence officer and he couldn't interfere.
'Commander, you need to come with me, Major Selahshur wants to speak with you' he told Roy
'Interrogation?'
'So-called!'
'I do not bow to what I don't want'
'It's natural in any military, isn't it? You can have your breakfast first, though she is in a hurry!' Kaveh said smiling.
'I'm neither to eat nor to be interrogated, you'll see.' Roy said.
'Come on! It's just the common process; we are not to harm you!'
'Of course you never can harm me, it was me who could harm you all last evening, and then none of you would be around to interrogate me!'
'I know you could bomb the facilities and you didn't, it is why you are respectful in my eye. But still lives are in danger.'
'Let them all go to hell, I will not care any any more, and I was mad that I cared once!'
A feeling of anger was mixed with Kaveh's sorrow, holding Roy's both arms roughly he said, 'you liar! Who says you are a father? Hundreds of thousands of chits are playing here and there in this city, plus a 4 and a 6 in my home. For their sake, I will force you at least to listen our questions!'
It was the first time Roy saw Kaveh expressed anger, 'how many times I must betray my army for you to be satisfied?' he said.
'Your choice! I wished you went there on your own feet.' Kaveh said, then addressed two officers, 'come, guide the Major to the interrogation room
'Respecting him' he added in Farsi.
Roy pulled his hands out of theirs and said 'I don't need guards to take me, I will go myself'

When they entered the interrogation room they found Raha standing to pray, Roy was surprised, he knew it is not a prayer time between early morning and noon for Muslims. But he didn't say anything, he hated anything related to Islam, and didn't care about Muslims and what they did.
They waited one or two minutes till her prayer was over, then Kaveh told her that Roy wanted his copy of Bible. After she said she would think about it, he left the room. Roy looked directly in Raha's eyes as his pride always made him to, her eyes were tired and red, and it was clear she was not kind or merciful today at all.
It was very easy to guess the situation was not one to jock about this time.
She didn't hesitate to say, 'good morning Mr. Harding, please sit down on the chair and write what may help us of your information on that sheet of paper!'
He sat down quietly and wrote a short sentence: 'I will not sell the United States'.
She stood near the table on which the paper was, and said, 'see friend, I'm not in a good mood today at all, neither to haggle with you nor to demonstrate that saving lives does not mean treason to the United States, and no way have a good feeling about letting you waist my time while I need it myself.'
Then she sat down on the other side of the table, and continued, 'well, let me help you, we found a detector in your knapsack, what was your next plan if you had to land or eject before your operation was done?'
He looked at the paper only.
'Or' she added, 'what kind of tactics were arranged for replacement if needed?'
'I don't know!' he said though he knew, just because he felt he had to say something. The weight of her looks made him react somehow.
She put her head on one hand with turmoil and thought how she could put more pressure on him. Got up and stood behind him, again said, 'I honestly don't want to hurt you as you are our guest, do not force me to keep you away from your family for long, by all international laws, we can keep you here as long as we feel a danger to our soil related to you, even if it is for ever.'
It was the gravity in her attendance and not her menace that made him speak, 'I don't think any serious threat is ahead toward your civilians, that detector was to enable the American forces to find me if anything happened to me while the operation.'
'Ok, go ahead!' she said, and when her request was followed by silence, she pulled his chair back, looked in his eyes and seriously continued, 'hurry up, I'm tired'
'They had told me the operation mustn't fail, even if I had to drop the warhead over the town, the operation was so vital, it chould no way fail, it wasn't predicted' Roy said.
'I'm not a child Major! I'm an intelligence officer, ok?' Raha said impatiently, 'any operation can fail, and, you are surely informed about farther actions!'
Roy perfectly knew what Raha wanted him; he thought about the day the General told them how they must act for not to be injured while the secondary action was taken if the main program failed, it was arranged for the noon when the sun would disturb the defense. He was very anxious, but couldn't say anything to Iranians.
If the farther actions were run, meaning a missile attack to vital points in Iran, many people would be in danger, plus many of their fundamental facilities and substructures if Iranians couldn't counter it. And then it was only him there that could be punished for revenge!
In the other side of the world, Generals were deciding that they must call off the next maneuvers, in respect of their officer captured alive, or delay it in order to misguide Iranians. The delay was recommended.
'Come on!' her voice distracted him, he picked up his head again, finding it difficult to overcome the feeling Raha put to him. 'If it will be a missile attack as I guess...' Raha looked at him and noticed a little change in his face, 'then I was thinking it could happen in the ...err, evening?' she kept looking at his cervical vessels that showed his pulse with a little delicacy, 'or midnight?... no it would be noon!'
Hearing the word noon, unaware his heart began beating faster.
'Yes noon would be a wise time to chose, practical and difficult to guess!'
'Why noon?' Roy tried to say. But Raha didn't answer; she continued 'I also need to know what types of missiles they could be, how many, and where their targets are?'
Roy got up and walked away, touched the wall of the room and said, 'I never told you a missile attack would be ahead!'
'Your pale face did' Raha answered, relieving after a very long stress and waken. It was called tactic, as it was her slogan.
'After all I like you better than all of them to be honest' Roy said, in his common serious tone.
Raha didn't look at him. But he continued, 'because you are like myself, headstrong, strict, and stubborn.'
'Thank you!' she smiled meaningfully, 'then let's continue'

Now let's go to a few doors thither and see what Colonel Rastegari told his officers in the base at the same time.
'You are right Hani' said the Colonel, 'she is very unpleased with the post I have devolved her!'
'Oh! What is that?' Kaveh asked.
'I want you all be informed,' He answered turning towards all of officers, 'the command of the base! Major Selahshur will be the commander within a few days that I will leave Esfahan, and I do expect your accompany with her.'
They looked at each other in surprise, it is not usual news for Iranian military, Raha joined the police force in her 17 and for her excellent abilities moved to the revolution guard intelligence later, and now she had the command, though unwillingly.

An hour passed from the beginning of interrogation, Raha felt she couldn't bear more tire, Roy noticed. The problem was that both were smart and strict, he bore a real pressure and found it the best time to change the topic.
'I see you tired and uneasy, but you aren't to let go of me yet, you must have a strong motive, isn't it all to wipe off Israel? What is this hot anti-Semitism you people hold on?'
'Anti-Semitism?!!' she suddenly laughed, 'why should I be anti-Semitist? My own husband is Semite!'
This time it was Roy that got surprised, 'have you married a Jew?'
'No' Raha smiled, 'a Palestinian! But they are also Semites, as I mentioned yesterday Arabs are descendants of Abraham also, specially Palestinians that may have the blood of Isaac too, remember, many of them are the same Jews and Christians that lived there for centuries, some converted to Islam when it appeared. But it is not what we spoke about; let's get back to our subject.'
'Yes they converted, by the force of sword, in Islamic damn holy war! Islam's enslaved you all, tormenting an infidel like me satisfies Allah... and if you are astute, you will see it is why I'm in this room'
'You are in this room because my country is threatened by your commanders; you are here because you know things we need'
'See! The fact of hostility with Israel is still up, and I'm taken here for the same reason.' now Roy showed it was not only Raha that knew psychological tactics; he also could tire his already tired interrogator to force her leave him alone.
She sat down on her chair before his, and said, 'anything the reason is, the current fact is that you are here, and the more you waist time the more you'll stay! Then let's get back to our subject'
But Roy knew very well that he just needed to buy the time left to the noon, and that she was very tired! He went on regardless of what she wanted 'I saw you praying when I entered, while it is not even prayer time! You are so afraid of Allah that even pray out of its time! It is what enslaving means.
'I rather die than be a slave like that and bow down and fear that I will be punished if I do not pray all day long!'
'I prayed because I was anxious, I prayed to calm down in this way! Don't you speak to God when you bear stress? It's what Qoran says, "and (in hard times) ask help from Prayer and Patience and truly it is great (difficult) except for humbling people" (Quran 2:45)' Raha said.
'Anyhow there is no freedom under Islam. Well it's not my religion and I do not want it to be. It's an eastern idea, I am not an eastern slave!' Roy said.
'Why should it belong any where? East or west?' Raha said 'It's just an ideology, and you just don't want to listen to it, for you are trained not to!
'And call it Freedom!! Open your eyes and see why people of the world hate that freedom. This freedom which you preach is "modern slavery".
'And if you think you can distract me from the interrogation, you must know I am much more stubborn than what you've discovered.
'What type of missiles and where?' Raha ended the discussion.
'Then freedom is to torture me in the name of God, huh?' he said, 'then when I'm of no more use, you'll kill me in the name of God, you can stone me then in the name of God for example!'
Raha knew his purpose very well, and he was perfectly achieving it, she felt a headache now. She would end the interrogation if there wasn't an emergency, but things were too vital to forget about, she had to continue.
It is very difficult to think while you have a headache, especially if you have passed a stressful sleepless night.
'A man who saved lives yesterday wants them killed today! How is it possible?' she thought. In this moment she heard a knock on the door.
'Come in' she said.
It was Kaveh who entered, but before he had any chance to speak Raha bubbled, 'give me your mobile please Mr. Hani! Immediately! Happy to see you in such a moment. Oh, don't let anyone understand, ok?'
'Pardon?' said Kaveh shocked for a second.
'Hurry up. Please!' she didn't even let him be surprised.
While she was dialing a number Kaveh looked at Roy questioning, Roy looked back at him, meaning 'I don't know'.
Kaveh tried to signal her that calling out of the military base was forbidden in that situation, but she didn't pay attention.
'Get it please' she told Kaveh, 'ask for your girl, will you?'
Kaveh got it puzzled; it was his own home she had dialed.
'Salam Rahil, good morning, missed you! ... oh yes, I will...' He told his wife. 'Are kids up? ... No I'm just to greet them, I'm very tired. The little ones vitalize me. Oh really thank you! ...'
'She's coming' he told Raha quietly.
Raha took the receiver and held it on Roy's ear,
'Baba? Baba? (=Daddy)' an eager sweet 4-year-old voice said in Farsi on the phone, 'when will you come home?'
Understanding the word "Baba" pronounced with such eagerness shocked his heart. For a moment he thought it was his own daughter calling him! He thought about her for a moment, but suddenly remembered where he was. The little girl had begun singing her new song, childish and playful.
'It is what I mean by the word innocent lives' said Raha.
'Baba?' the voice called again, Kaveh snapped the receiver and said, 'yes my honey?' his eyes filled with tears and turned his face away.
'What is the sin of these kids and us that must be bombed?' Raha addressed Roy, 'you want our facilities, our liberty, and our soil, to be destroyed! She wants to grow up and heir these all... which one of you or her are more righteous?'
'You pay for your pertinacity and extremism' said Roy.
'No!' replied Raha firmly 'we pay for our independence, a disobedient nation in the region of oil and power... and israel! ... It is what we are and what we pay for!'
'Towns are not in danger, hopefully. Why should we kill your common people?' Roy said with a pause.
'What about our wage? The asset we collected with the price of the blood of our youth, imposed war, boycotts, threats, propaganda, and helplessness?' she said.
Kaveh had finished his call, his face was wet and his eyes were shining of joy. Roy looked at him, and turned to Raha, mumbling he said ' err...well! ...if you want to save your civilians, I advise you to draw them off all nuclear facilities, if they are still there, also fundamental plants.'
'And where else?' she said.
'That's all I know'
'Ok, how far?'
'Please stop it!' Roy cried at once! 'You paid for so long, you are not afraid of paying more then! They are also your children, let them grow strong! They can pay like you! End this game with me!' it was his last attempt to get rid of the interrogation.
'They will be strong' she smiled, and understood she had to let him go back to his room.
He was leaving the room more tired and broken than her when she called him again saying, 'by the way!'
He stopped angrily and said, 'what a hell this time?'
She smiled again and said 'I just owed you something last night: a "thank you"!'
He looked at her for a second, and left.

Raha smiled and sat down in the room, rubbed her eyes with her hand pleased, she had read several articles that said many people in the world express in poles that torture can be acceptable to extract information when they are needed to save lives, she always wanted to prove that such a savagery is not required.

In his way to his room a 7 Ssin on a table in the corridor attracted his attention, Roy hadn't notice it last night, he didn't even know what it was, but could guess in respect of the Iranian New Year. He went to it, picked up the copy of Qoran and opened it, the officer that was with him didn't know whether to stop him or not. He was irrepressible and disobedient, and never would ask permission from an Iranian.
He put it in its place and glanced on the rest of the 7 Ssin. Then went on his way.

He sat in his room. Though he didn't like Kaveh yet but he was looking forward him to come, loneliness annoyed him a lot.

Kaveh was going to take something for Roy to eat when Raha called him.
'I thought you went to sleep!' said Kaveh
'The Major wanted the Holy Book, come take it for him please.' She took it up from the shelf and said 'I suspected why he called for only his own copy. I found the answer here:' and she opened the book on a page, there was the photo of a young smiling woman, down right side there was written Rose, 'it must be his wife' she added.

Roy didn't react when Kaveh entered his room. Kaveh sat down beside him and put Bible in his hand, still he didn't react.
'I think I offended you this morning, I'm sorry, but well, I had to!' said Kaveh.
Roy didn't answer. Just opened the Holy Book and leafed.
'I've brought you some meal, you should eat, or you will indispose yourself'
Roy was surprised to see his wife's photo was still there, but didn't say anything yet.
'I understand your anger about the interrogation, I may disturb you, ok I'll leave, don't forget your meal is on the table.'
Roy didn't Expect him leave, he didn't want to be left alone, but also didn't permit himself to ask Kaveh stay there, he thought of another solution immediately, then said, 'how sweet your girl is!'
The sentence cheered Kaveh, 'all the time jumping and running around the house,' he said, 'she is very energetic! Disassembles everything and laughs! She is just like her father.'
Roy sighed, it abashed Kaveh, he sat down again and said, 'well kids are patient little things, fathers also need to be patient!'
However Roy had achieved his desire with no solicitation, but the pain in his heart didn't recover.
Kaveh put his hand on Roy's shoulder. 'How was the interrogation? Major Selahshur is not really as rough as what you've seen.'
'We had a difficult time with each other; heh! Because we are too much alike!' said Roy with jocundity for the first time, 'she would flog me dead if she could!'
'She could!' Kaveh said, 'she's had full power over you indeed, but she is too noble to treat brutal!'
'Are you sure you could? What would you explain to the Red Cross then? And what about the US?'
'We don't have to explain anything for the US;' said Kaveh 'they must explain why they aggressed us! (See about sailors)
'And... you aren't reported to the Red Cross, my brother, they aren't even sure if you're alive, we would have to inform them of your position and health... and it would be dangerous for you. If the foreigners are informed where you are, your life will be in danger because some may try to kill you to stop your information pass to us! Or even to accuse us of that to have their public opinion blame us, wars start on very absurd reasons, they play with minds of your people, and achieve what they want.'
'That's stupid, who wants to kill me?' said Roy 'I'm an American. Does the US kill its own citizens? And do Israelis kill their allies?'
'You are too sure about it, Americans have even killed their own president once... many Americans believe it was CIA that shot President Kennedy' said Kaveh.
'Yes, many say so, but are you sure? Do you have enough evidence?' answered Roy.
'I just said some Americans believe so... if you really look for examples (israelis killing Americans), there are too many, the USS Liberty, Rachel Corrie, and so on!'
'Liberty seems to be an accident' said Roy, 'Israelis were in war with Arabs that time, they had warned everyone about entering their waters, they've probably not been able to get in touch with the warship, or thought it was an Arabian ship, wars are hard times! Later they apologized and paid for it.'(Read about USS Liberty)
'I heard it happened in international waters, while the US carried its flag' said Kaveh, 'but, ok, even if it was their waters they could have alarmed you, even if the radio was off, israelis could make a warning sortie over it, before killing 36 Americans and wounding more than 100!! Should they have arranged such a bloody attack because you entered their waters? Hmm, the fact that your warship was in service for the intelligence, may explain the israeli motive though! Also they could have blamed that on Egypt, cool they could pull US in the war against Egypt if they succeeded killing all of witnesses!!'
'Haven't you ever heard of accidents in war? We also have accidents where we have killed our own soldiers' said Roy.
'I'm amazed, you even deny your own rights to justify israel's deeds!' muttered Kaveh, 'ok... your navy shot our civilian Airbus while they were a few miles inside our waters, killed 290 civilians, we were in war also, but we didn't arrange such an attack to the USS Vincennes!'
'That's another story, long enough for itself.' said Roy.
'Ever heard about Rachel Corrie?' asked Kaveh.
'No'
'I think news like this are most likely declared in the middle of night, when there is no one around to hear!' Kaveh continued, 'she stood before an israeli bulldozer not letting it destroy a Palestinian civilian house, israel later claimed the driver hadn't seen her. Her friends said he had a good sight of her, they witnessed that she was pulled under the bulldozer while they cried out alarming the driver.
'Even the theater which her group made to awaken people about the incident was bared in the US (34*)!'
'Why should israelis have killed her? Only for standing before a house? does it make sense?'
'Her fellows and she used to stand as a human shield to stop bulldozing houses where Palestinians lived. Who knows? perhaps this time IDF wanted to teach them a lessen they would never forget (Read about Rachel Corrie-35*)
'Even I read in an israeli newspaper that Netanyahu says 9/11 terror attacks were good for Israel! (see Haaretz)' then lowered his voice 'see these are white American blood I speak about today, not the Middle Eastern cheep blood that you never care about!' then turned and looked at Roy.
'Moral of the story, I must not be reported to the Red Cross!' Roy said indifferent about Kaveh's last taunt.
'If you are not to call it a war crime after all what I told you, yes, for now' replied Kaveh.
'Hmm! Then I have no one to protect me against you?' Roy joked smartly.
'Yes, there is one, God! Do you trust him?' Kaveh said and press his hand friendly on Roy's shoulder.

Raha didn't sleep more than two hours; she wasn't in a situation to rest with no concern. After the noon prayer she went to Colonel Rastgari.
She wanted the number of personnel remain the same it used to be before Roy's attendance without reporting Roy, there were some options, she suggested calling for another officer, and she preferred him to be a pilot.
She was also very uneasy about her new post; she was going to speak about it with the Colonel hopeful to change his idea.
These where what Major Selahshur and Colonel Rastgari spoke about for a long time, they decided that they could allow TV in the base but not internet.

TV has a lot of effect though.
This was the first access of Kaveh and Roy to the media since last evening. The first news they got was: The Price of Appeasement 37
'What do they mean?' Roy asked
'The price of oil I suppose' Kaveh answered.
It was the explanation of Fox: "Another previous victim of the mullah’s malice inquired, “Doesn’t anyone realize that the Iranians will continue to seize Westerners until they have to pay a price for doing so?” And a third American, held captive in Tehran by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his colleagues back in 1979-80, asked, “Why, after all these years, hasn’t anyone stopped them?”
The answer, in a word: oil.
No Western leader — not UK prime minister, not US president, certainly none of the leaders of “Old Europe,” and surely no one at the United Nations — dares risk the wrath of the ayatollahs and the possibility that Iran might shut off 20 percent of the world’s oil. Just the chance that the most recent “hostage crisis” might worsen pushed the price of oil as much as 7 percent in less than a week." (Quoted from Fox)
Kaveh's face showed his annoyance. 'They could have been a little fairer; they could leave a thin possibility that things may be different. And the enemy is not always an evil'.
'Who? Our media? Joking!!' Roy laughed meaningfully and dropped himself on the bed.
